About the illustration series:
A children’s bedtime story about the Great Queen
Written by Hannah Storyteller | Art by Morpheus Ravenna
Goodnight Morrígan is the brainchild of Hannah Storyteller, creator of Some Joy To Share, a whimsical Seussian story that follows “the attempts of the Norse god of Freyr to woo a rather skeptical prospective partner.” Hannah is (as her name indicates) a brilliant and entertaining storyteller. For this book, Hannah’s written a charming take on the beloved children’s book, Goodnight Moon. In place of the quiet room with its comforting toys, clock, mouse, and whispering grandmother, we have… the world of the Morrígan: battlefields, wandering spirits, encamped warriors, spears and swords, hunting hounds, and haunted idols. The illustrations are rendered by Morpheus in ink and watercolor.
